Dr. David Mitchell to Present at the National College Music Society Conference
Dr. David Mitchell, along with his wife and global marketing leader, Jennifer Jones-Mitchell will be presenting at the National College Music Society Conference in October on How to Market Your Music Online.
Dr. Mitchell and Jennifer Jones-Mitchell previously presented a similar program at the Southeastern College Music Society and the national program invited them to present to the full membership on October 27-29 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Dr. David Mitchell's original composition, "The Bells" for chorus and violin was performed by the Campbell University Choir - featuring Lucy Greenleaf-Carter on violin on Friday, February 19, 2016. "The Bells" was arranged and set to the Edgar Allen Poe poem of the same name.

The Samdi-Keene Duo officially premiered Lake Avondale, Saturday, December 13th at The Buttonwood Tree Performance Arts Center in Connecticut. Classical guitarist Dan Keene said, "The people loved it! We will be performing it again January 3rd at Spectrum for its NYC premiere."

Samadi-Keene Duo Previews David Mitchell's "Lake Avondale" in November
The Samadi-Keene duo will offer a preview performance of "Lake Avondale," a composition by Dr. David Mitchell for classical guitar and piano. The preview will take place November 21st with numerous performances across the US including the Spectrum in NYC on January 3rd, 2015 at 7:30pm.

Mitchell Composition "The Boiling Pot" Selected For James Gibson's World Tour
World renowned pianist/conductor, Dr. James Gibson selected Dr. David Mitchell's composition for solo piano "The Boiling Pot" to perform on his upcoming world tour.
Dr. Gibson has been involved in over 2000 performances throughout North America and in 35 countries. An author and professor, Gibson taught for a number of years at Cornell University, the University of Maine at Fort Kent, and Penn State University at Hazleton. He has also directed over sixty operas, musical theatre works and plays. In 2014-15 James Gibson will perform an extensive series of piano recitals in many cities, featuring a wide repertoire and a number of assisting artists. Every recital will also include at least one world or regional premiere. Throughout the season he will perform works by several dozen living composers from throughout the world.
